Overview

TestAchieve is an ACT-style practice testing service operated by MTD071 LLC (United States). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the TestAchieve website and practice-test experience.

It covers accounts you create yourself and purchases you make on this site.

Information we collect

We collect only what the service needs to work:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and login credentials (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us in plain text).
  • Practice activity — the questions you are served, your answers, scores, time spent per question, and flags or notes you make during practice. This is the core of the product: it is what produces your results and progress feedback.
  • Purchase records — what you bought and its fulfillment status. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor; we never receive or store your card number.
  • Technical information — standard web logs (IP address, browser type) and error reports, used only to keep the service running and secure.

How we use information

  • To deliver, time, and score your practice tests and show you results and progress.
  • To fulfill purchases, provide receipts, and handle refund requests.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse (for example rate limiting and detection of content scraping).
  • We do NOT sell personal information, show third-party advertising, or use your data for marketing to third parties. Practice responses are used to score your work and improve question quality — not to build advertising profiles.

Service providers

We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service. Each receives only the data needed for its function:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
  • Vercel — website hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing for purchases.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (account invitations, password resets).
  • Sentry — error monitoring, so we can find and fix failures.

Students and minors

TestAchieve is designed for high-school students preparing for the ACT® test. If you are under 18, you should use the service with the knowledge and consent of a parent, guardian or program.

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

A parent or guardian may contact us at any time to review or request deletion of their student’s information.

School and program deployments

If your account was created by a school or tutoring program (rather than by you on this site), that organization controls your account and your results.

In those deployments: authorized staff at your organization (such as instructors and administrators) can see your practice results; your organization decides when scores are released to you (some programs hold scores for counselor review); and requests to correct or delete your information are routed through your organization, which acts as the data controller. We process student data solely to provide the service to your organization — consistent with the expectations of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) — and never for advertising.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and practice history while your account is active, so your progress and results remain available to you.

You can request deletion of your account and personal information by emailing us (see Contact below). We will delete it within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep (such as purchase and tax records).

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Data access is enforced at the database layer with row-level security, so accounts can only read the data their role permits. Scoring and answer keys are handled server-side and are never sent to the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but security review is a standing part of how this platform is built.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email or an in-product notice.
